This incredible specimen is from a small batch brought over from England by the owners of the Greenlaws Mine that was distributed amongst a small handful of US vendors at the 2023 Tucson gem and mineral show.
This specific type of fluorite has a very dark purple, almost black look when indoors, but when exposed to sunlight the purple color comes alive and is exceptional!
The white pockets you may notice on these specimens are air that got trapped as the fluorite formed, very common for this area in England.
